Talking to Men Training
Fri, October 16, 2020 @ 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
MOVE Ireland are launching a “Better than this” campaign on October 14th to run for a month in Kerry.
This campaign aims to reach out to men who are concerned about their behaviour, with the invitation to be “better than this.”
The “Better than this” campaign will also focus on reaching out to frontline workers who may come across abusive men in the course of their work- whether in a social work, mental health, justice or addiction setting.
We will be offering two free online 2 hour trainings for workers in these settings. One will focus on sharing skills for recognising and engaging with men who may be abusive, to motivate them to seek help.
